“Astrid! Astrid, are you listening to me?”

Astrid looked up at her mother who was standing in front of her with her hand on her hip. “Hmm?” she mumbled in reply.

“I was telling you that you’re using the wrong colour wool! You should be using the yellow wool, not the red. You know the red wool is expensive and only for special cloth,” scolded her mother.

Astrid looked down at the blanket she was weaving; her mother was right. “I’m sorry, Mum. I just can’t concentrate. Dad and Karl should be back from their trip by now. I hope they are OK.”
