Dad slumped down on the sofa. “Typical,” he grumbled. “There’s always someone in the bathroom when I need it.”
Shinoy, Mum and Myra all raised their eyebrows and said in unison, “But everyone’s here!”
Dad looked even more confused than normal. There was a clatter from upstairs. “So, who’s that in the bathroom?”

Just then, a booming voice came from inside. “WHAT IS THIS PRISON?” Shinoy’s eyes widened. It was the voice of the Chaos Crew’s greatest enemy. “S.N.A.I.R.!” Quick as a flash, Shinoy activated his special phone app that would call a member of the Chaos Crew. “Call to Action, Chaos Crew!” But nothing happened. No one came.

“Is there someone out there?” shouted S.N.A.I.R. “I demand to know!” “Er, no!” said Dad. Everyone looked at him. “Release me from this strange and smelly chamber,” ordered S.N.A.I.R., hammering on the bathroom door. “It’s a fiddly lock,” said Dad. “You need to waggle it.” “Don’t tell it that!” screeched Mum. “It’ll get out and vaporise us!” “But I need a wee!” whined Dad.

“Shinoy?” said Bug’s tiny voice from his phone. “Is that you?” Shinoy looked closer at the screen. It was the Chaos Crew!

“We can’t get through to you,” said Bug.
“Some kind of force field,” grinned Merit, waving.
Salama pushed herself into shot. “Are you in mortal danger?” “It’s S.N.A.I.R.,” Shinoy told them. “He’s locked in our bathroom and he can’t get out.” 8

Ember explained that they’d been hunting S.N.A.I.R. in the jungles of Tangle Wild, but he’d disappeared.
“I assume he activated a Protection Pod to stop him from being captured,” Bug said. “It’s an emergency safety system that will seal and time-lock its user for 28 hours.”
“That’s how long each day is in Further Earth,” Shinoy explained to Mum. “It must’ve transported S.N.A.I.R. into your bathroom,” Harry barked.
