Shinoy and the Chaos Crew When Shinoy downloads the Chaos Crew app on his phone, a glitch in the system gives him the power to summon his TV heroes into his world.

With the team on board, Shinoy can figure out what dastardly plans the red-eyed S.N.A.I.R., a Super Nasty Artificial Intelligent Robot, has come up with, and save the day.

1 Spongy walls!

A lump of chocolate cake tumbled from Toby’s spoon.

It splodged into his bowl and splashed custard on to his school jumper.

“Awwww, this was clean on this morning!” he grumbled.

Shinoy chuckled. “You’re eating it too quickly!”

“But I love cake and custard, and we don’t have much time,” said Toby, scraping the yellow goo off his uniform.

Shinoy and Toby had been at Comic Club for most of lunchtime and now they were in a hurry. As the bell rang, Toby spooned more cake and custard into his mouth.

They left their bowls and spoons on the trolley and raced into the corridor, trying not to be late for their next lesson.

“Stop!” came the shout from Mr Amitri, the head teacher.

He indicated with a bony finger for them to approach and they knew they were going to get a talking-to.

“There are reasons,” he said, crossing his arms and leaning against the wall trying to look casual, “why we do not run in the … oh!”

His shoulder had squished into the wall.

Mr Amitri was furious. “I’m not having spongy walls in my school! What will the inspectors think?” He stormed off, muttering something about the caretaker.

“What happened?” asked Toby. Shinoy was already prodding the wall. It didn’t feel like a wall should feel. He pressed harder and his whole hand d i s a p p e a r e d.

Toby couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

“Too freaky!”

Shinoy rummaged in his pocket for his phone and Toby knew what was coming.

“Can I say it?”

Shinoy nodded and pressed the special app.

Toby cleared his throat.

“Call to Action, Chaos Crew!”

2 Disappearing atoms!

A flash of light announced the arrival of tech genius, Bug. She instantly analysed the scene via a flip-down screen from her head gear.

“OK, two things,” she said.

“One: gutted that I missed Comic Club. Two: what on Further Earth is going on with your molecular structure?”

“You mean the spongy wall?”

Bug leaned in to examine it.

“That’s only the start.

The atomic bonds are breaking down in –” She paused, looking worried.

“In what?”

Shinoy asked.

“In EVERYTHING!”
