There’s always something to see and do in Colmore Business District.

Each July, the award-winning Colmore Food Festival showcases the best food and drink offerings from across Colmore Business District and attracts over 30,000 visitors each year.

Visitors are spoilt for choice with the stalls made up of local restaurants, coffee shops, bars and hotels offering a selection of meat, vegetarian and vegan options. Organisers also place price caps on food and drinks, creating an affordable, but unforgettable experience.

And during the winter, the award-winning Christmas in Cathedral Square offers guests a variety of crafts, gifts and food and

Delivered in partnership by Colmore BID, Birmingham City Council, Danter Attractions Limited and Birmingham Cathedral, Christmas in Cathedral Square features great food, music from local performers, Christmas trails and lights and traditional crafts, ornaments, and gifts from an array of independent Midlands businesses.

Colmore BID’s Welcome to Birmingham was introduced in 2022 to support the many people — especially graduates and young professionals — who have joined organisations in Birmingham and the Colmore Business District in recent years.

Due to the ongoing impact of Covid-19 and the shift to remote work, many of these new joiners won’t have experienced the traditional onboarding process that forms a key part of starting a new job, and as a result, are unlikely to be aware of Colmore BID and the events and activities it hosts to support young professionals in their careers.
