It’s Happening on Main Street
Let Spring Renew Us | It’s Happening on Main Street
Your Downtown Main Street Association officially locked the door on March 17 through March 31 (or until the restrictions are lifted) as a result of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) and its impending threat to spread.
We have canceled all events in the Downtown City Park through May. Contact us for any questions you have about Downtown: (805) 238-4103 or info@ pasoroblesdowntown.org
We will send e-mail updates as we get information and continue to promote our businesses who are taking steps to show compassion and care for our community while complying with the rules. Our businesses are suffering and need support. Contact them and patronize them however you can. Paso Robles is a special neighborhood, let’s take care of each other!
On March 19 San Luis Obispo County issued a shelterat-home for everyone. Closing many businesses who are considered non-essential, and asking everyone, especially those over 65, and those with illnesses to be cautious, and respectful of others through what is being called “social distancing.”
This is a serious time in our history, and the rules in place are to help slow the spread of the novel coronavirus and to keep us healthy and safe. Take a moment to reflect. Count your blessings and say your gratuities. We’ve always heard “expect the unexpected,” and now it’s here!
This is a first for most of us (even my 98 year old father-inlaw has never seen such a thing). We are all in this together, no matter how long it lasts we will survive and come back in better spirits.
It is my prayer that when you receive this April issue, we are in recovery. You will read this article and have learned something about life, people and yourself. You are the captain of your own ship (thanks, Holloway for that one), so I hope you sail through by eating well, staying positive, keeping busy, and realizing that THIS TOO SHALL PASS! Karyl Lammers
