A great message emerg ing from scientific studies on wine and red wine in particular is that the benefits are strictly connected with the consump tion at Consumptionmeals. of red wine during a “fatty” meal signifi cantly reduces the harmful consequences of oxidized fats, such as those present in” fatty foods” subjected to prolonged cooking. Oxidized fats are the first cause of atheroscle rosis. The wine antioxidants polyphenols greatly reduce the oxidative state of these fats eliminating the potential harmful excess before these molecules are absorbed.

Extra virgin olive oil, a monounsaturated fat, is part of the “healthy” fat group and an essential Mediterranean Diet component. Many of the health benefits are associated with the polyphenols and oleic acid in the oil. Extra virgin olive oil contains the most beneficial components. At the root of the Russian collusion hoax was a conspir acy between high-level officials within the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and our national intelligence agencies to concoct a smear so scandal ous that it warranted criminal investigation of the president and his associates. The national press once upon a time would have dug deep for sources and reliability of the report ing to independently verify the Russia hoax allegations.

For the most part at the national level and far too often at the local level, our press has become an adjunct of the federal government, compro mised by incestuous profes sional relationships in the educational and social institu tions in our national capital and the major institutions which establish policy in our society.

As a result, “reporters” sound like parrots repeating the latest blast from official government sources, even using identical statements across the national networks when reporting stories, especially if the stories concern out-of-favor individu als or groups. Theagainst?Justice Department and the FBI, along with other federal agencies with law enforcement authority, are operating without account ability to the American people and the rule of law. It’s time to create an agency superior to all others with federal law enforcement powers to “police the federal police” (FBI, IRS, EPA) with powers restricted to that function (no power to investigate civilians) to protect our liberties from arrogant, rogue and dangerous organi zations that hold the Consti tution and the Bill of Rights in contempt. Any presi dent can take the highest level of classified information and read it in a press conference if he so chooses, which makes it instantly declassified, however imprudent or dangerous that might be. Both statute and Supreme Court case law has fixed this in concrete. The pres ident is the boss and has final say over classification matters, period.Recent articles in the Wall Street Journal and other publi cations, along with an excellent article by Victor David Hansen of Stanford University (“FBI, R.I.P”) spelled out the rogue behavior of the FBI, its insub ordination to the president, lying to congress, refusing orders of federal judges and covering up criminal activ ity by their agents. The Italian Mediterranean Diet Pyramid: Not just a diet The discovery of the health benefits of the Mediterra nean Diet is attributed to the American scientist Ancel Keys of the University of Minne sota School of Power, which pointed out the correlation between cardiovascular disease and diet for the first time. The “Mediterranean Diet” is more than a diet; it’s a lifestyle that also encourages eating with friends and family, socializing over meals, mindfully eating your favorite foods, as well as mindful movement and exer cise. The Mediterranean diet pyramid was developed based on the eating habits of long-living adults in the Medi terranean. It follows a general food pyramid guideline (not specific quantities) and encour ages communal eating and an active lifestyle.

1. Being discontent and unthankful are sinful attitudes.

Their complaining was sinful, and when the Lord heard it, He began to burn the outskirts of the camp with fire (Numbers 11:13). The people cried to Moses for help and relief. Moses again prayed to the Lord and the disci pline was stopped. The Lord’s reac tion to complaining reveals that it is a serious sin. However, this disci pline didn’t hinder the people from continuing to complain.

e don't have many mirrors in our home, for obvious reasons, but recently I saw a reflection of this stranger in the window of the hardware store. The grotesque figure had more hair growing out his nose than he did out the top of his head, and he did a combover with the hair growing out his ears. He had this shriveled, gnarled face with slits for eyes, sunken cheeks, his teeth were worn down to the gums, and his Adam's apple looked like he'd swallowed a softball. His image scared the bejeezus out of me, and he's following me everywhere I go!

The people told Moses that they wanted more to eat than just manna. They wanted some meat to eat (Numbers 11:4-9).Their discon tentment caused them to demand that God should provide what they craved. The people told Moses that they were better off when they were slaves in Egypt. This reveals that sinful discontentment can result in sinful lusts and words. How fool ish to say that they were better off as slaves than freed servants of God. Being unthankful can cause a person to say foolish things. Moses

I used to be able to sleep all night without getting up, but for some reason, now I have to get up several times to drain my radiator. Personally, I think it's because of all the preservatives they're putting in our food. And since when did a gallon of water start weighing eight pounds? The gallon jugs seem to be much heavier now, probably because of all the minerals and impurities in the water. That's my theory, anyway.

The people began to weep and cry out to Moses. Moses took the problem to the Lord and admit ted that he could do nothing to appease the people by acceding to their demand. The Lord’s anger was greatly aroused (Numbers 11:10). Moses was given help from the Lord to handle the burden of dealing with the people (Numbers 11:16-17). Seventy men were chosen to assist Moses in overseeing the needs of the people. The Lord then promised to provide meat for the people. Moses responded to God’s promise by saying it seemed to him that it was impossible to provide meat for so many people (Numbers 11:18-22).

O ne of the abilities that a good leader must possess is to be able to solve problems that will surely arise when a large group of people live together. It is obvious that the children of Israel needed to eat in order to keep alive. The Lord had provided bread from heaven called “manna” (Exodus 16:1-35), but a problem arose which was caused by discontentment. People got upset and began to complain to Moses about the monotony of having only manna to eat. The lack of variety in their diet and the tedious repetition of only eating manna caused the people to become discontent and unthankful. This is a common prob lem that is caused by monotonous
