Ava Arangua Francis (Paloma & others) is thrilled to be making her Fine Arts Center debut! Ava was born and raised in Colorado and is a recent graduate of AMDA New York. Credits include The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Vintage Theatre), Avenue Q (Miners Alley), Matilda (Town Hall Arts Center), Anything Goes (San Diego Musical Theatre), and Into the Woods (Arvada Center). Ava would like to thank everyone who has worked on this production and hopes you enjoy the show!

Journee Dortch (Sushi & others) is a senior Visual and Performing Arts student at UCCS just down the road! This is her first time working with The Fine Arts Center and she is extremely grateful for the opportunity! Journee dedicates this show to her friends and family and thanks them for always supporting her on her many adventures. Journee also thanks you for coming to see the show and she hopes you continue to speak up for the prairie dogs one bark at a time! ARF!

Iliana Lucero Barron (Director) is a latin(a/x/é) director, performer and all around creative. She is thrilled to work with FAC for the first time, and even more thrilled to bring this fun, imaginative and playful world to life, alongside the cast and creative team! The City Dog and the Prairie Dog lends itself to so much possibility! All that this story asks for is an open mind and a big imagination. Iliana invites you to sit, lean in, be curious, and enjoy the show!

J. Chang-Tablada (Music Director) is thrilled to be in his 9th season of music directing and performing at the Fine Arts Center! Thank you to this incredible cast and creative team for bringing this amazing show to life. Come downstairs to see J. conducting The Little Mermaid this holiday season. And he would love for you to come and experience his solo cabaret show, “Songs in the Key of J” downstairs in the Deco Lounge on November 30th and December 14th. @jchangtablada

Brian Watson (Scenic Design) is making their Fine Arts Center debut with this production! Formerly from the Bay Area, they have been residing in the Denver Metro Area for the past two years. In Colorado you could have seen Brian’s work in Scarlet Pimpernel, The Little Mermaid, Crazy For You, and High School Musical at Candlelight Dinner Theatre, Matilda and Jersey Boys at Town Hall Arts Center, and even the immersive lobby display for the Arvada Center’s Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812. They hold a B.A. in Theatre Arts from CSU Sacramento and also works as an actor with Actor’s Equity Association. Follow them on Instagram @BWatScenic and visit bwatscenic.weebly.com

Jordan Hull (Costume Designer) is thrilled to costume design for the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center Theater Company. Born in Denver and raised in the San Luis Valley, she is an actor, voice actor, wig artist and costume designer who has appeared in several theatre productions throughout the state. Behind the stage, she has worked with productions throughout Colorado such as Arsenic and Old Lace at Creede Repertory Theatre, various productions at Su Teatro, and has also worked in the local fashion industry with work published in Elite magazine. Recent credits include, Empire of Solitude with Flamboyan, Fuente Ovejuna at Wheat Ridge Theatre Company, Cheyenne with Control Group productions.

Adelina Gonzales (Lighting Design) (she/them/2S) is a lighting designer, advocate, and creative innovator. This is her first production with FAC, and she is thrilled to help bring the world of The City Dog and the Prairie Dog to Life. Enjoy the show!

Lyn Huff (Stage Manager) is passionate about all things crew. Most recently, they were a Stage Manager for Springs Ensemble Theater (Proof). They worked two seasons with Footlite Musicals in Indianapolis, Indiana, doing every crew role possible. Highlights include Assistant Stage Manager (Spongebob: The Musical) and Set Design (Guys and Dolls, A Chorus Line). They were a Painting Director with Indy Bard Fest (Angels In America, Troilus and Cressida).
