THE HORACE TUREMAN LEGACY SOCIETY The Horace Tureman Legacy Society was established to recognize the exceptional group of individuals who have pledged future support for the Colorado Symphony through their wills or other planned gifts. Horace Elder Tureman was conductor of Denver’s Civic Symphony Orchestra, which became the Denver Symphony Orchestra – the predecessor of the Colorado Symphony. Tureman, who studied with Debussy, led the orchestra from 1922-1944, playing a formative role in establishing the cultural scene present today across Colorado. Members of the Horace Tureman Society receive special recognition and the opportunity to become involved in the ongoing life of the Colorado Symphony through special events. When you include the Colorado Symphony Association or The Symphony Fund in your will, we appreciate receiving notice of your decision. This provides us with the opportunity to acknowledge your bequest intention and invite you to join the Horace Tureman Legacy Society so that you can enjoy its lifetime membership benefits. If desired, Colorado Symphony representatives are available to meet with you and your advisors to assist in your charitable gift planning goals. All inquiries will be held in strict confidence.
