Steven Spielberg, Richard Donner (Lethal Weapon films) and Chris Columbus (Harry Potter films) collaborate to create an epic childen’s adventure of subterranean caverns, sunken galleons and a fortune in lost pirate treasure waiting to be found by a group of friends known as the Goonies. With brothers Mikey (Sean Astin) and Brand’s (Josh Brolin) house slated for demolition by greedy land developers, the boys decide their only hope lies in finding a long-lost treasure. MOVIE AT THE SYMPHONY BIOGRAPHY CHRISTOPHER DRAGON, resident conductor Australian conductor Christopher Dragon is in his fifth season with the Colorado Symphony. For three years he previously held the position of Assistant Conductor with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra, which gave him the opportunity to work closely with Principal Conductor Asher Fisch. Dragon works regularly in Australia and has guest conducted the Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and West Australian Symphony Orchestras. His 2015 debut performance at the Sydney Opera House with Josh Pyke and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra was released on album by ABC Music and won an ARIA the following year. Dragon’s international guest conducting includes the Orquestra Sinfônica de Porto Alegre, the San Diego Symphony Orchestra and the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra. He has also conducted at numerous festivals including the Breckenridge and Bangalow Music Festivals, with both resulting in immediate re-invitations. At the beginning of 2016 Dragon conducted Wynton Marsalis’ Swing Symphony as part of the Perth International Arts Festival alongside Wynton Marsalis and Jazz at the Lincoln Center Orchestra. Dragon began his conducting studies in 2011 and was a member of the prestigious Symphony Services International Conductor Development Program in Australia under the guidance of course director Christopher Seaman. He has also studied with numerous distinguished conductors including Leonid Grin, Paavo and Neeme Järvi at the Järvi Summer Festival, Fabio Luisi at the Pacific Music Festival, and conducting pedagogue Jorma Panula.

ISABEL MARIE SANCHEZ, vocalist Isabel Marie Sanchez was born in Chicago, Illinois, but resides in San Antonio, Texas. She is a recording artist who began singing at the young age of two. Sanchez is excited and honored to currently be a signed artist and has released her album with the legendary Mr. Abraham Quintanilla “Mr. Q” (Selena’s Father) at Q-zone records, alongside GRAMMY® awardwinning producers Brian “Red” Moore and Chris Dominguez. Her debut album, New Girl in Town, included her hit songs “Fallaste Corazon,” “Pero Como Voy A Olvidar,” and “Un Beso.” all of which made the nationally renowned syndicated Tejano Gold Countdown. Sanchez broke the record in being the first and youngest to have not only one, but three singles at the same time for Tejano Gold Countdown Top 20. Isabel is known for her powerful vocals and wide range that has been featured on many local television shows and most recently was a participant on the international hit show La Voz Kids (NBC) where she received a three-chair turn and standing ovation from all the judges as well as the audience. She was quoted by Natalia Jimenez as having “a voice of a Goddess” and being an “exceptional vocalist.” Sanchez was also a contestant and first place winner on Sabado Gigante (Univison), one of the nation’s longest running Spanish-language television programs. Isabel was invited to The National LULAC Convention to perform the U.S. national anthem and a special tribute to the National President four years in a row in New York City, Salt Lake City, Utah, and SOUNDINGS

ALTERNATIVE BIOGRAPHY Washington D.C. Isabel was also invited by People en Español to sing the national anthem and present Don Francisco the Icon of the Year Award and sing at his tribute in 2014. She has had the honor to perform the national anthem for many dignitaries and she also sang for NBA’s San Antonio Spurs. Isabel was invited to sing the national anthem and perform her rendition of “San Antonio” for Mayor Ivy Taylor and city councilmen inauguration in 2015. She was honored to be chosen and personally asked by the Quintanilla family to perform Selena’s hit “No Me Queda Mas” at the 35th Annual Tejano Music Awards in 2015. Isabel was also invited to be one of two artists chosen to perform for the official Selena MAC- Worldwide makeup launch in Corpus Christi, TX. In 2016, she performed with the San Antonio Symphony for the Fiesta Pops Concert. She toured to perform and be featured at many of the worldrenowned rodeo stock shows to include Colorado, Dallas, Ft. Worth, and San Antonio. In 2016 Isabel received the All Star Ambassador Award from Network For Young Artists. She also received the distinguished honor of being a recipient of La Prensa of San Antonio Leadership Awards. Isabel is a member of LULAC Youth Council 1124, most recently honored as District Sweetheart in 2017, and donates her spare time and voice to many charities and non-profit organizations. Her biggest vocal influences are Vicente Fernandez, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Selena, and Lola Beltran. She loves to sing a variety of music.
