OUR FOOD MAKES THE DIFFERENCE “Between seasoning and levels of cooking, our Baby Back Ribs take about 8 hours to prepare.” Woody Mills, Co-Founder & C.E.O Our Bar-B-Q meats are seasoned with specialty spices, slow smoked for hours and cooked to perfection. All of our meats are smoked in house and have a pink smoke ring that is the signature of smoking with the finest hardwood available. There is no slicing at Woody’s, we hand carve all of our meats. Most of our meats are served without the sauce because we want you to choose the one you prefer not drowning in sauce like so many other Bar-B-Q joints. This is what makes us different. Nobody Knows Baby Backs Like Woody’s. Long before ribs became the flavorof-the-month at big-chain restaurants, Woody and Yolanda created perfection with their Signature Baby Back Ribs. Since 1980, they have been using a special recipe and unique process to make the best baby backs around. Baby backs come from the tenderloin area of the pig where the meat is most succulent. Woody’s imports its baby backs from Europe, known for the very finest cuts of top loin ribs. Also known as “top loin ribs,” baby backs are the gourmet delicacy of pork that inspired the term “Eating high off the hog.”

Woody’s real estate team will utilize a sophisticated demographic modeling process to determine your center’s optimal location, taking into account area demographics, traffic patterns, employment centers, and other profiles and market characteristics.

RESTAURANT DEVELOPMENT

Immediately upon joining the Woody’s Bar-B-Q family, you’ll be partnered with our restaurant development team to create your blueprint for a successful franchise. From business plan development, financing assistance and real estate to municipal approvals and construction, they will assist and mentor you through your grand opening.

FRANCHISE TRAINING AND CURRICULUM SUPPORT

With our intensive 6-week training program, you will receive more support than the industry standard. This program is designed to educate each new franchisee in all aspects of restaurant operations and provide them with the tools to achieve success. Whether our franchise owners have previous training in restaurants, business, or both, you will receive exclusive hands-on training specific to understanding and fully utilizing our culture, business systems and curriculum.

The size of your restaurant, whether it is a build-to-suit, second generation restaurant or new construction, as well as other variables, affect this estimate. Details on our initial investment cost are located in our Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD). How much are royalties and advertising contributions? Woody’s Bar-B-Q royalty is 5% of the gross sales. The Advertising Fee is 2% of gross sales. How do I find a location? Woody’s Bar-B-Q guides you every step of the way, from securing a quality location to having a successful opening of your new business. Woody’s real estate team will utilize a sophisticated demographic modeling process to identify sites, perform competitive analysis and demographics. How big is the typical Woody’s Bar-B-Q? Our ideal Restaurant model can range from 2,800 sq. ft. to 3,300 sq. ft. Our Express model ranges from 1,000 sq. ft. to 1,500 sq. ft. What type of training will I receive? Prior to the opening of your store, you will be required to attend and successfully complete Woody’s Bar-B-Q intensive training program based on experience. What is the term of my franchise agreement? The initial term is for a period of 10 years, after which you can renew in 10 year increments pursuant to the Franchise Agreement and lease availability. Will you protect the Woody’s Bar-B-Q brand, menu and standards? The key to a successful franchise brand is establishing uniformity and consistency. Woody’s Bar-B-Q is well known for its quality. The conditions in the franchise agreement have been created to maintain these high standards. Any deterioration of the standards will only damage the image and reputation of all Woody’s Bar-B-Q restaurants. Do I need restaurant experience to open a Woody’s Bar-B-Q? Experience is helpful, but not necessary. It is more important that you are committed to following our proven system and not deviating from it along with having a strong work ethic. Our Franchise Support Team will train you on everything you need to know to successfully operate your business. How much profit can I expect to make? The amount you could make is impossible to determine and is a function based on many variables such as: retail sales, sales margins, cost of goods sold, location, fixed cost, variable cost, operating cost, financing cost and other factors. We encourage you to contact our existing franchisees to conduct your due diligence research. What form of continuing operational support guidance will I receive? Woody’s Bar-B-Q will provide you with our confidential Operations Manual which covers the many facets of restaurant operations. Updates to this manual will be sent to you as they are implemented. Periodically, your location will be visited by our field representatives to insure smooth operations and offer counsel and advice to you and your staff. Woody’s Bar-B-Q sites must be conveniently located in neighborhoods or lifestyle centers that accommodate everyday activities. We also seek a good mix of businesses within the trade radius to promote our catering business. These may include high-volume or upscale grocery stores, specialty an convenient retail, and similar national Fast-Casual restaurants concepts. Woody’s Site requirements include, but are not limited to: • End-cap, free standing, or multi-tenant out parcel building • Excellent visibility to main roads. • Easy access at peak hours from thoroughfare. • Four to six spaces designated ‘short term’ for Take-Out Guests. • Take home flexibility with a separate take away entry and registers for easy

access and use. • Above average median income relative to the Metropolitan Statistical Area. • Easy ingress/egress, with traffic signal, left turn-in, left turn-out preferred; convenient and ample parking adjacent to restaurant (at least 50-60 spaces in the immediate area).
