THE HEALTH OF OUR HOSPITALS: EFFECTS OF PROPOSED LEGISLATION – 6-8pm. A recently completed NYS Department of Health analysis shows that repeal of the Affordable Care Act will result in $13.7million in funding cuts to the 13 hospitals in Congressional District 19. Locally, Health Alliance (previously Kingston and Benedictine hospitals) will lose $1,367,237 annually in revenue which surely will effect both staffing and services. In response to these potential cuts, Indivisible Saugerties will sponsor a forum entitled The Health of Your Hospitals. The featured speaker will be David Scarpino, President and CEO of Health Alliance.
