Is the Vodacom data bundle offer free to customers?

The Vodacom Data bundle offer is free, and customers do not pay extra for it

How much data will the customer receive after purchasing the device?

The customer is awarded 40MB of data renewable every day for the period of their loan term

What must a customer do to receive the data bundle?

The customer only needs to purchase the MKOPA phone and register using their Vodacom SIM card. Thereafter, they will start receiving 40MB daily for the period of their loan term

If the customer gets a new SIM card, will the data be transferred?

If the customer gets a new SIM card but keeps the same phone, they will NOT receive data on the new SIM

Can a customer use the data when they have no phone usage days?

The customer’s phone will be locked, which prevents them from using their data, but the data bundle may assist the customer in unlocking their phone

If a customer has an issue with their data bundle offer, who do they contact? The customer should contact Vodacom in case of a delay orfailure to receive data bundles. M KOPA can only CONFIRM that the customer’s phone number is registered to receive data bundles

Does the daily/weekly payment include data and airtime?

The daily / weekly payment does not include data and airtime. However, the customer receives 40MB every day for the period of their loan term

A customer will need the following to purchase an MKOPA powered phone;Physical official identity documentInitial deposit plus a minimum of 2 usage days’ payment Vodacom SIM card Must be 18 years

What if I fail to make payments?

Your phone will remain locked You will not be able to make or receive phone calls except to/from the M KOPA customer care You will encounter the inconvenience of constant reminder calls from customer care You will not qualify for future exciting offers, services and products

Can I buy more than one device? MKOPA will finance you one loan at a timeWith a good repayment history, you will become eligible to other exciting offers from M KOPA, so it’s important to make payments on time to qualify

Can I buy a phone for someone else? When you buy a phone from MKOPA, your details are recorded as the Primary Person who is responsible for the weekly / monthly payments.You are at liberty to give the phone you purchase to someone else to use;however, the Vodacom free data bundle will be sent to the phone number registered as the primary contact
