“Don’t be deceived by his quiet charisma and laidback style: he uses that honeyed drawl to deliver some pretty edgy riffs,” says The Telegraph of the “master craftsman” (Time Out) of comedy. Following his debut tours of New Zealand and Scandinavia, the “brilliantly unpredictable” (Sunday Times) comedian returns to the UK with a brand new show.

Founder and frontman Martyn Jacques “[trudges] between his piano and accordion like a man weighed down by supernatural dread” … his presence “a melancholic amalgam of Cabaret’s Joel Grey and Meat Loaf ” (The Guardian). For his 14th solo album, Avonmore, the Roxy Music frontman has worked with a string of A-list artists including Johnny Marr, Nile Rodgers, Flea and Mark Knopfler. “Few artists of his vintage are at this point still discovering new methods of dance,” said The Quietus following Ferry’s 2013 show at the Royal Albert Hall. “He’s found fresh juxtapositions with which to embrace all his personalities.”

Since forming in 1967, the Moody Blues have sold more than 55 million albums worldwide and are responsible for classic songs like Go Now and Nights in White Satin. “Crafting and performing sublime, lasting art-rock for ‘our children’s children’s children’ is just what they do,” says Examiner. They perform following the release of Timeless Flight: The Voyage Continues, a career-spanning 17-disc box set.
This talented trio comes together “for the joy of playing and exploring the possibilities of music”. “Virtuoso instrumentalist” (The Guardian) Martin Simpson is joined by Folk Award-winning melodeon player Andy Cutting and Nancy Kerr, described as “quite breathtakingly beautiful” by Mark Radcliffe of BBC Radio 6 Music.

The Grammy Award-winner “exploded into the late 1970s new wave scene as a brash singer-songwriter who reinvigorated the literate, lyrical traditions of Bob Dylan and Van Morrison and paired them with the raw energy and ferocity that were the principal ethics of punk” (Rolling Stone). He returns for this new solo tour.
“It is a rare musical act that has its audience on its feet and dancing almost before a note has been played… but the Overtones managed it” (Liverpool Echo). New album Sweet Soul Music will, say the boys, “transport you back to the heady time of the 1960s when groundbreaking television shows … launched such era-defining artists as James Brown, The Temptations, Jerry Lee Lewis and The Supremes”. An uplifting evening of music and dance awaits as this talented group of young South Africans perform. This money-raising event is the culmination of a five-week tour of North Somerset schools and will feature collaborations between Zakhele and local students. Proceeds from the concert will allow Zakhele to continue their work in educating, supporting and inspiring orphans and vulnerable young people in their community.
