2011 UA Area Chamber awards night/ business expo

Chamber sets its sights on the future The Upper Arlington Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated with the business community another successful year by recognizing the people and companies that have made significant contributions. University Plaza Hotel hosted the event on Friday, March 4. Deborah Taylor, past board president, hosted the “Deborah Lipton” at the “James Lipton, Inside the Chamber’s Studio” video. Through this innovative approach, division chairs shared some of the successes of 2010 and offered a Deborah Taylor glimpse of what’s in store for 2011 as the chamber works its strategic action plan.

“The future belongs to those who see possibilities before they become obvious,” said John Sculley. “Tonight we are going to focus on building for the future,” Becky Hajost, chamber president, shared with the audience as the evening began. “Tonight is not just about the success of this event but also our ability as an organization Becky Hajost to build on the initiatives of 2010 as we strive to achieve the goals established through the careful planning of our 2011 Action Plan.”
