Hilliard Gives Thanks to the generosity of local residents, the Hilliard Community Foundation was able to present three local charities with grants totaling $13,400 through the “Hilliard Gives” campaign on Monday. These grants will help Hilliard residents whose lives have been affected by COVID-19. The “Hilliard Gives” campaign is a partnership
of the Hilliard Community Foundation with the City of Hilliard. The foundation board of directors announced grants have been presented to Hilliard Community Assistance Council/Hilliard Food Pantry, Patches of Light, Kiwanis Club and First Baptist Church and Daycare. Additional grants may be presented in the coming days.
Hilliard Restaurant Bingo “Hilliard Gives” was launched in March to accept donations for local not-for-profit agencies that are working on the front lines, supporting local residents who have been impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. The foundation expects to be able to present additional grants to other programs in the
coming weeks as donations continue to come in from the community. Contributing to Hilliard Gives is easy and tax deductible. Details are available at hilliardcommunityfoundation.org.

On May 15 at 9 a.m. via Zoom, KTech will go over some of the basics to ensure your information and your customers’ information is secure, what are the best ways to share information, and what are some of the most prevalent risks now that everyone is working away from the office. Most importantly, they’ll answer your questions or concerns to help get you through this challenge! The Hilliard Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the City of Hilliard to bring our community educational sessions for our businesses.
