May 17 Luncheon – Lift to College and Career

Tolles Career & Technical Center is on the move, creating some big wins for businesses, students, and communities. Tolles is partnering with businesses who will receive trained students while reducing their training costs. Students earn income while learning and Tolles helps to lift students to college and career. Whether students are looking for a jump start on college

or seeking work-based experiences, Tolles meets their needs. Nearly all the programs at Tolles Career & Technical Center offer college credit and credentials recognized by employers. With the skills students learn at Tolles, they are ready to enter our Internship Program their senior year. Student schedules can be tailored to be out in business and

industry a few hours each day up to two full weeks at a time, all day, every day. Spend some time with Superintendent Emmy Beeson, Admissions Coordinator Shea HavensWhite, and Internship Program Coordinator Steve Cawley and discover how Tolles offers career education coursework and industry credentials that provide a more affordable path to a college degree for in-demand careers. This luncheon will

be on Friday, May 17 at Heritage Golf Club from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Reservations are required and need to be made by May 15 online or by calling the office at 614876-7666. The luncheon is open to the public. Thank you to SHAKLEE Make A Difference, LLC for sponsoring this luncheon.

Join us at the Reception House at Raymond Memorial by Schmidt’s for our next Hilliard Women in Business Luncheon on Wednesday, May 15th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. While Millennials comprise nearly half of today’s workplace, Generation Z is coming in right behind them, and Boomers and Xers are still alive and kicking. All of these generational demands are creating havoc in the workplace…or are they? We’ll take a look at the four major generations in today’s workplace, what defines each one, and the threads that tie us all together. We’ll explore how to attract, engage, and retain today’s workforce, and how to build relationships that last beyond the resignation letter. Everyone is welcome to attend. Reservations are required to attend this event and can be made on our website. Thank you to Credit Union of Ohio for sponsoring this luncheon.
