HALLOWEEN PAU VILA & C.CASTELLER: ENGLISH: worksheets about Halloween • Learn about Halloween • Compare with our “Castanyada” • Learn about our parents’ “Tot Sants” • Compare with “Ogni Santi” in Italy What we learn is that it is a tradition related to religion. Nowadays, Halloween is invading everything: monsters and pumpkins all around in both countries, but we still eat hot chestnuts on the streets, both in Treviso and Sabadell.

WELDEN STORY PAU VILA & C.CASTELLER: This a story provided by the Italian school which is perfect for our project. It talks about two villages overcoming their problems and differences by building a bridge. It is a beautiful story and we can understand the project better.

The students from Treviso read the story in Spanish. The students from Sabadell read the story in English. We have to connect the pictures with the story.

In groups, we create our own poster about the story. The best poster of each class gets a prize (April 23rd).
SONGS AND MUSIC PAU VILA & C.CASTELLER: That music and songs travel around and jump over frontiers, barriers and languages is common knowledge. We have worked some songs that in one way or another deal with the project like: • Laura non c’è • Like a bridge over troubled waters • Amigos para siempre • Sur le pont d’Avignon We have enjoyed singing them and have learnt about bridges in a literal and a metaphorical way, crossing generations too.
SPORT PAU VILA & C.CASTELLER: GENERAL FACTS: • everybody can practise sport • team sports / individual sports • competitive level / fun level • specialised material / no requirements • special areas / everywhere SPORTS WE ENJOY / WE PRACTISE: • with our friends • with our families • with our Comenius partners: • volleyball and football in the school • vollleyball and football in the beach • and we visit the museum of Barça
SCHOOL: NOW AND THEN PAU VILA & C.CASTELLER: HOW WAS THE SCHOOL IN THE OLD DAYS? We ask our grannies about topics like: Subjects Materials Number of students Methods Write down their answers and add a picture! CONCLUSION: EXPERIENCE PAU VILA & C. CASTELLER: THE PROJECT: working together in tasks and activities sharing our products and results in e-twinning using foreign languages in a natural way learning about several areas in the tasks improving competences all along THE EXPERIENCE: emotionally engaged new partners, new friends real insight of visited country and culture motivating learning and curiosity long term positive consequences life long experience
