Photobook by Ceyda Resuloglu, in collaboration with old photos from my late fathers albums, Recep Ali Resuloglu.

The photos in this book show my fathers home, Ordu in Turkey and the home he created for me. While the photos on the left side may look beautiful, it hides a lot of poverty, despair and lack of opportunities. This is the story of an immigrant and his daughter.

The Australian Dream You talked of your home and taught me your language, but oh baba, you never thought you would have an Australian daughter, You lived with the hope of going back one day, you prepared us to leave and to stay, but oh baba, who am i then? you talk of your home, like you can see and smell it, but oh baba, that is not my home.

To my family, thank you.
