Newport has a wealth of attractive and interesting public spaces and buildings. There could be a better story told about them. The Mill Trail has attempted to do this, but there are loads more opportunities.

Always interesting to walk around Newport because I love the architecture

Convert Newport Quay bridge into a public garden

Deliveries before 10am to limit large vehicles in the town

Public spaces could be managed more imaginatively

When the river fest or beer and buses events are on in Newport for example the place is buzzing historic buildings not utilised or shown off to their full potential

Public spaces need to be better/welcoming/ for socialising/being outdoors

Better use of public space for things like Christmas markets and seasonal social events

Full use of St Thomas Square as a fun/ vibrant city space

Funding for local community groups to take care of open spaces
