Evaluation/Certification

Objectives and content By the end of the course, participants will be able to: – Evaluate the major health challenges that migrants face before leaving, during migratory journey and upon arrival in the host country, with a particular focus on vulnerable groups. – Appraise the clinically relevant issues of mental health disorders in migrants and refugee aid workers. – Appraise the most common sexual reproductive health problems and associated challenges. – Evaluate the limitations and challenges relating to the prevention, screening, diagnosis, and surveillance of key infectious diseases related to migrant population.

The course content includes the following topics:

One individual and two group work activities will be used as a test to measure the individual performance of each participant. Certificates confirming successful completion or attendance will be issued.

Conditions for admission – At least two years of professional experience – English requirements: TOEFL paper 550 / computer 213 / internet 79 – 80 or IELTS 6.0 or native speaker or completed higher education in English (with written proof) – The number of participants is limited to minimum of 20 and maximum of 35 participants

Course fee

The course fee is CHF 1100.–.
