DERBY PUBLIC MEETING
Britain Needs Socialism
J
obs and industry are under attack here in Derby and all over Britain. Bombardier is a sign of the way the country is going. Unemployment is growing – fastest amongst young people. Pay and pensions of both private and public sector workers are cut. Public services and benefits are being slashed - again.
Britain needs Socialism a political and economic system that uses the wealth of the country for the common good, not individual greed. We have invited the Communist Party to introduce a discussion on the newly published Party programme “Britain’s Road To Socialism” and want to invite you to come along. You’ll be made very welcome, whatever your opinion!
People can’t afford decent housing, and more and more homes are being repossessed. Yet there is plenty of money for new nuclear weapons and constant war. The richest 10% of the population who owe £120 billion of unpaid tax get richer still. And their government of millionaires does everything it can to look after them and their interests Capitalism is in crisis - and working people are under attack by the bankers and fatcats who caused it. You are invited to the discussion
