By Bonnie Adams, Managing Editor REGION – It’s not the same without the fans, everyone acknowledges. But thanks to strict COVID-19 protocols, winter sports are being held. The Westborough/Hopkinton High School Gymnastics team won their opening meet of the season over Hudson 129.650 to 129.4 on Jan. 19. And on Jan. 22, the Algonquin Regional High School boys’ basketball team opened their season with a 63-53 win over Shrewsbury.
