WESTBOROUGH – Incumbent Shelby Marshall and challenger Sean Keogh defeated incumbent Syed Hashmi to win the two 3-years terms on the Board of Selectmen in the March 2 annual town election. Patrick Welch defeated Thomas Dolan, Jr. to win the open one year-term on the BOS. This position was vacant after longtime Selectman Leigh Emery stepped down in December. Peter Bouchard defeated Zafar Imitiaz Siddiqui to win the one five-years term on the Planning Board. By Ron Ayotte Contributing Writer MARLBOROUGH - Marlborough Fire Chief Kevin Breen recently announced the retirements of several longtime members of the Marlborough Fire Department as well as a promotion. The most recent retirement was of Captain/EMT Stephen L. Krysa, who was affectionately known as “the Colonel”. Krysa retired on Feb. 25 after a 35-year career. He was appointed in 1987 and was stationed as a firefighter at Station 3. He
