By Stuart Foster Reporter MARLBOROUGH – A public hearing on Monday of last week saw stakeholders share a variety of opinions and perspectives on a proposed 10,000 square-foot mixed use project at the corner of Lincoln and Mechanic Streets in Marlborough. Taking place within the City Council’s larger May 9 meeting, this hearing came a matter of weeks after plans were filed for this project, which would be dubbed Alta Marlborough. HUDSON – Hudson High School’s baseball field has a new name following a ceremony last Friday. For the multiple generations of community members who knew him, the renaming is a fitting way to honor the late Hugo Guidotti Jr. “The field was Hugo’s life,” Guidotti family matriarch Sally Guidotti said during the dedication ceremony. “…Thank you for this dedication to a man who loved Hudson, loved Hudson High sports and loved this field.”
