MARLBOROUGH/HUDSON - The majority of area schools held graduations this past weekend, honoring the Class of 2022 and recognizing an at times tumultuous journey through high school. “They said it would only be two weeks…” read one banner near the stage at Marlborough High School’s (MHS) ceremony, referencing initial COVID-19 lockdowns in 2020. “We made it,” Hudson High School (HHS) Class President Kate Champeau said. “It’s time to turn the page and start the next chapter we’ve all been waiting for since we first walked through the doors.” HHS held its graduation first on Saturday, before MHS convened to celebrate on Sunday. The Advanced Math and Science Academy and Assabet Valley Regional TechnicalHigh School will now cap the region’s graduation season this weekend.
