Taking place at the Martin Harris Centre & Manchester Museum, this 2-day Conference will feature inspiring talks, interactive workshops and performances from artists, practitioners and academics from across the UK and around the world.

In venues across Manchester and beyond there will be a fantastic programme of Platforma Festival Fringe events including an exhibition by Virtual Migrants at Manchester Museum, a performance at the Academy by Serbian Roma band Kal presented by Satellite State Disko, an exhibition by Elizabeht Kwant at the People’s History Museum and the Kurt Schwitters Autumn Seminar in Cumbria.

PLATFORMA LIVE THURSDAY 31 OCTOBER 7.30PM JOHN THAW THEATRE MARTIN HARRIS CENTRE Platforma Acoustic Night will feature spoken word performances from the hugely talented Kayo Chingonyi and Warsan Shire; music from singer Haymanot Tesfa, Didier and Remie from West Midlands-based band The Redeemed; and a performance of Mazloom, a short play about the experiences of young Afghans in the UK.
