Vote for your favourite business
TIME is running out to nominate outstanding businesses in the 2025 Blacktown City Local Business Awards, with voting closing on Tuesday, March 11.
Nominating a business that o ers exceptional service or products is a great way for customers and clients to show their appreciation for the e orts of business owners and their sta .
Precedent Productions Managing Director and Local Business Awards Founder, Steve Lowe, said one of the best ways customers could show their gratitude for exceptional service and products was to nominate their favourite business for a Blacktown City Local Business Award.
“We all say thank you after we’ve been served in a shop or other business,” he said, however, “nominating a business that o ers outstanding service is a way of thanking those people in a tangible way that can make a very big di erence to their lives”.
“Numerous times over the years, we’ve been told by Local Business Awards nominees how much it has meant to them that customers or clients have made the e ort to reward their e orts by nominating them.”
“Being a Local Business Awards Finalist or Winner also brings the bene ts of publicity and additional business, as people have told us that they view a Finalist certi cate or Winner’s trophy as a sign that they will receive exceptional goods or services there.”
Mr. Lowe said a huge number of nominations had already been received, especially online, through the Precedent Productions website.
“The Blacktown City community has enormous respect for its local businesses”, he said.
“Every Finalist in the Local Business Awards receives a certi cate, and category Winners, announced at the Presentation Evening, receive a trophy.”
“These certi cates and trophies are always displayed with great pride in shops and o ces, and business people have told me that customers and clients are impressed to know that they are dealing with an award-winning business.”
The Awards are only possible thanks to the support of: Presenting Partner: Commonwealth Bank, Major Partners: Blacktown City Council, NOVA Employment, Blacktown Workers Club, and Westpoint Blacktown, and Support Partners: Greater Blacktown Business Chamber, Seven Hills Plaza, White Key Marketing, and Kings Langley Shopping Centre.

Message from the Mayor Councillor Brad Bunting
Blacktown City Council is proud to be a major sponsor of the Blacktown City and Mount Drui St Marys Local Business Awards.
Blacktown is one of the fastest growing cities in Australia, with our current population of over 435,000 forecast to grow to over 600,000 residents within 20 years.
Our economy is over $24 billion and based on the trading activity of over 30,000 local businesses.
During these challenging times, we known that it is particularly important for our Council to support local businesses who are the backbone of our economy.
The Local Business Awards is an opportunity for our community to come together and acknowledge the great work our local businesses are doing in providing jobs, goods and services to support our City’s people.
I am proud to recognise that several Council businesses are regularly nominated as nalists in their award categories.
Congratulations to all winners and nalists in the Awards!
