What can you do with your stand?

You are welcome to brand your space for the best effect. We would recommend a pull up banner to place beside or behind your space. There will be bags handed to Expo attendees on entry so that they can carry marketing collateral, promotional items etc.

Please note: nothing Is to be attached to the walls or other surfaces.

When can we bump in our items?

Bump in will commence on Monday September 4 at 4pm and from 8am Tuesday September 5. You are able to access the Diamond Showroom and Eucalyptus Restaurant hallway during these timeframs. We recommend that you utilise Monday to bump in the majority of your equipment as there will be limited time for set up on Tuesday morning.

Please note: we do not recommend leaving any Tuesday overnight, please bring those with you on morning.

How do we access the expo room?

There is a walkway available directly from Level 4 of the carpark and this walkway leads directly into the areas of the Club we are using for the event. The premium stands will be located in the hallway area outside Eucalyptus Restaurant and the Diamond Showroom stalls are located in the Diamond Showroom (on the left at the end of the hallway). Alternatively, you can access the Club from ground level and take the stairs/ escalators at the back of the Club up to the event floor. Please note: Blacktown Workers Club is a licensed Club and you will be asked to show ID on entry to the Club.

Exhibitor space

Exhibitor spaces will be numbered and you will receive details of your space location two days before the event.

When can we bump out our items?

Bump out will commence at 5pm September 5, and we ask that your stand be completely vacated by 7pm. There will be a Chamber of Commerce event commencing at 5.30pm in the Ballroom which you are welcome to attend pending registration with the Chamber.

Other helpful information

There will be barista coffee available throughout the day to keep your team caffeinated. You are welcome to attend the workshops and purchase tickets to the lunch event however, we ask that there be someone always present at your space during the event to assist expo attendees. A great opportunity to get people to stop by your space and chat is to offer a giveaway – this also assists you to collect the data of those visiting your stand.

Success tips

Invite your customers

Do your clients or future customers know you’re exhibiting? Send out letters to relevant customers with show details, stand location and any offers. Why not buy some tickets to the event for your top 10 customers and give them away. You could even run a competition online via social media as an additional promotion.

Strike while its hot

Serious customers do not want to wait for information to be sent too long after the show has closed. You have a buyer literally waiting for you, capitalise on that opportunity by having simple and effective fact sheets ready to send.

Social media

WEXPO has engaged Buzz Web Media to manage our social media. We encourage all exhibitors to share their stories. Send to events@wexpo.com.ao

Make them remember you

How will visitors remember you once they leave? Prepare yourself with handy giveaways, such as flyers, cards or fun branded objects like stress-balls. Always work towards being a memorable exhibitor for event attendees.

Look like you want to be there

Nobody likes approaching someone who seems tired, annoyed, bored or busy. An exhibition is a fantastic opportunity for you as a marketer - you should want to be there, so look like you want to be!

Post like everyone’s a follower

There is a lot of conversation happening online. Millions of people are constantly sharing, posting, liking and offering their opinion. Push your way into the conversation by using social media as a medium for sharing what is happening on your stand in real-time.
