CCM - Because we know local matters! In the modern world, we have learned that taking care of oneself takes many forms. Eating well, moving the body, seeking medical care as needed, and finding ways to support the systems that are in place in your body already are the best options. Bodywork falls under the self-care heading. It includes massage, acupressure, acupuncture, and reflexology. Many people find much relief from pain, stress, and the strain of day to day life using bodywork. Reflexology is a modern practice using ancient knowledge. It uses the theory that the 7200 nerve endings in feet, when properly stimulated by touch, communicate with the spine, which then communicates with the brain which then uses the body’s own inherent abilities to help and heal. It also clears out those nerves so all the systems can communicate effectively and clearly, supporting health and healing. Reflexology is natural, safe, and adaptable. It can be performed just about anywhere, but the best results come from having a session somewhere quiet and removed from the daily hustle and bustle. An average session usually lasts about 45 minutes and, when performed by someone with a proper education in reflexology, will be targeted to whatever areas you are having the most issues with. Sessions can also just be performed for general overall support and relief with no specific need in mind. Self-Care is essential to being the best you can be. Having reflexology as part of your self-care regime, be it bi-weekly, monthly, or however it fits in your schedule, will support your immune response, healing, stress release, and pain levels. Copycat Cracker Barrel Cheesy Hashbrown Casserole This is my favorite casserole ever! I serve a double batch of this every Christmas Morning, and we never have leftovers. With just 5 minutes of prep, and a few ingredients, you’ll be enjoying this absolutely cheesy and delicious masterpiece! Make it the night before and pop it in the oven the next morning. If you make this recipe, drop a photo on our Facebook page. We would love to hear from you!

Active Time: Total Time: 5 minutes 55 minutes

Servings: 10

INGREDIENTS: 32 ounces shredded hash browns thawed ½ cup melted butter 10¼ ounces condensed cream of chicken soup, 1 can 1 pint sour cream ½ cup onion finely chopped 2 cups colby cheese grated, divided ¼ teaspoon pepper 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish. 2. In a large bowl, combine thawed hashbrowns, melted butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, onion, 1 ½ cups of cheese, and pepper. 3. Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with the reserved ½ cup of cheese. 4. Bake for 45-55 minutes or until hot and bubbly.

Toppings: I top this with more cheese, but if you like crunchy topping on your hashbrown casserole, this is also great with cornflakes. Gently crush 2 cups of cornflakes and toss with 1/4 cup of melted butter, sprinkle over the casserole before baking. How to Freeze Hashbrown Casserole: This freezes great! If you have leftovers, which would be so weird, then simply freeze any leftovers in a container. Freeze them in individual portions and pop them out to thaw before popping in the oven for a quick side dish!

There is only one truly unique way to tell if you’re having a “This is bomb, one of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had” or a “ This is pretty good” cheese steak. It doesn’t involve the meat, the cheese or the bread. Don’t get me wrong. Those are all important, but they’re not the deciding factor of the overall gooey cheesey meaty goodness. What is it, you ask? Ketchup! You read that right, folks! I just love a good cheese steak smothered in ketchup, but that’s usually my indication that I’m just having an “okay” sandwich experience. But when you bite into a cheesesteak and your eyes roll back in your head, get up and put that ketchup back in the fridge, because that’s when you know!! That’s when it’s the perfect steak, and that’s exactly how I felt about this HUGE, flavorful and cheesy Tosco’s cheesesteak. It was big and juicy. They mixed the cheese in with the meat, pure perfection. The onions and mushrooms were perfectly sauteed. The flavor punched me in the face, just the way I like it! It’s no surprise that Tosco’s Italian Delight on Main Street in Red Hill serves up amazing steaks, as they are an absolute staple in the Valley’s food scene. You can always swing by and expect a truly delish meal, or as they say, you can count on them to “feed you like family.” So go-ahead, go get a nice steak, with or without, and tell them Tor sent ya.
