The National College for Community Dance (NCCD) is FCD’s home for professional development pathways for people delivering dance in community settings and contexts. It delivers courses, seminars, flexible online learning opportunities and advocates for professional development opportunities UK wide for dance leadership in the community.

National College for Community Dance presents this commissioned series of four inspiring resource books that complement our courses.

This is a series of handbooks that give you useful reflection upon the role of the dance artist going into specific environments to lead dance.

Passport to Practice in Community Dance Handbook by Diane Amans, a leading practitioner in community dance, with experienced contributions from people working in a variety of relevant disciplines.

All of the authors to these handbooks have a fantastic and rich resource of specialist knowledge along with longevity of experience in the specific fields that they illuminate here.

Along with their own experiences, they have collaborated with FCD and with their peers to seek out contemporary practice and debate for you to reflect upon.
