Comprised of interviews conducted following the October 1998 kidnapping and fatal assault of gay University of Wyoming student, Matthew Shepard, The Laramie Project is a chronicle of life in the town of Laramie the year after the brutal crime. This fascinating collection of community reactions explores the depths to which humanity can sink and the heights of compassion of which we are capable.
