There are a lot of people who have mistaken the work of an electrical engineer and think that he is only responsible to set correct the electrical faults that occurs in electronic equipments. Well the engineering jobs are not very much simple and you have to put in a lot of effort to become an engineer. You have to learn a lot of things and this leads to great work load on you. You will have to deal with a number of different things which you are serving as an electrical engineer.

The students of electrical engineering must be aware of the work which is actually done by the electrical experts. Starting from the common though of people that the ones specialized in electricity works in order to clear the faults in electronics to the correction of power supply and voltage, everything has to be done by you. You have to ensure that there is no faulty piece or thing in the electrical appliance that is hindering the normal functioning of the machine. Furthermore, going one step ahead, the electrical equipments are working by the help of electrical power supply. You have to put in electricity in those machines in order to get the output from them. The workers will assure that right amount of current is going in and there is a steady voltage helping in the functioning of the device.

Then you can move further one step and go to the designing of the electrical machines and their testing. We all are aware that there is a proper technical working and circuits that are helping a machine in its working. Therefore, you

can also design the structures on which a machine is working. There are special things which are involved in making them. As I mentioned earlier that the engineering jobs are not stuck to one single point, you can do multiple tasks as an engineer. The designing will require the gates and equipments needed to make a circuit. You may be given a chance to design a circuit that has to be fitted in a computer. Or you may be given the task of making such a circuit which will help a machine in doing multiple tasks. We often see devices that are having different buttons. These are basically different circuits or different pathways on which the current has to travel. You activate the button, the current take that path and the command given by user is obeyed.

In short, starting from the making of electrical equipment to its proper functioning at the place of user, an electrical engineer has to monitor everything. He must assure that the design is right to make the thing work righteously and while the thing is under user’s control, there must not be any fault in its functioning. If there is any problem that rises up while the user is operating it, it is also your task to clear the device and to get it back to its operational condition.
