MESSAGE OF PRESIDENT JEFFREY WEBB

On the global stage, CONCACAF has enjoyed unparalleled success in women’s football, and we can stake claim to some of the game’s most successful players, coaches, referees and teams. With the FIFA Women’s World Cup set to be played in Canada next year, CONCACAF is again in an excellent position to excel on the pitch. Yet, there is still much work to be done in order to fully maximize the potential of women’s football in our region. CONCACAF is therefore proud to present Let’s Develop Women’s Football, a unique two-day event that will further establish our Confederation’s commitment to the women’s game. The seminar will highlight the success stories of our region and provide our Member Associations with new strategies and ideas to continue competing at the elite level of women’s football with the rest of the world.

By bringing together global thought leaders, we have the opportunity to discuss the prominent topics which currently surround the women’s game in order to expand the opportunities that lie ahead. Throughout the weekend, Let’s Develop Women’s Football will strive to accomplish three main objectives: EDUCATE stakeholders about the current status of women’s football on the regional and global levels PROMOTE investment and improvement of the women’s game INSPIRE the participation of women in the game through the creation of new opportunities We look forward to hosting you in Philadelphia and we appreciate your commitment and dedication to improving all aspects of the women’s game in the CONCACAF region.

Jeffrey Webb President
