This transaction marks the most valuable property ever auctioned live at Sotheby’s, resulting in global participation from seven bidders with a sale price representing a 121.2% increase from the winning bidder’s opening bid. In partnership with Harald Grant of Sotheby’s International Realty, Tim Davis of The Corcoran Group, and Cody Vichinsky, President and Founding Partner of Bespoke Real Estate, the property was on the market for 530 days, selling through auction in 42 days. The remarkable final sale price for ‘La Dune’ reflects its stunning design, exclusive address, and historic pedigree. Notably, the ‘white-glove’ sale saw all lots sold, resulting in a staggering total aggregate bids of $808.25 million. The auction was covered by global media outlets, including CNBC, The Wall Street Journal, the New York Post, The New York Times, Bloomberg, and more.
