"I painted this portrait in recognition that I was born on 31 October, a Halloween baby. I did this piece in 2007. Over the years I've painted her several times with the faces of recognizable female celebrities. What a hoot! I prefer the original face. This is the original Pumpkin Girl" Ed Morales

" Back in 2009 and 2010, I had the pleasure of doing the portraits of Beverly D'Angelo, Jacqueline Bisset, and Susan Hayward. I knew Jacqueline back in the early 70's when I was the Operations Manager for Bullocks Department Store, Sherman Oaks, California. She was one of the many Hollywood actors who shopped regularly at our store. She was very nice and considerate. I had been stationed at RAF Bentwaters, Suffolk, England for 3 years during the late 60's so we had a lot to chat about. We never knew who we would bump into. The portrait I did of her was as she appeared in 1973-1974.

I saw, but never met, Beverly D'Angelo and Susan Hayward. I'm sure they would have been equally nice. My high fashion department store background became a driving force behind my lifelong self-taught quest. Why self-taught, no money honey, a young family to support meant no money for expensive art school. True back in the 70's as it is today. In retrospect, I prefer being self-taught because there are no limits to where my imagination can take me. Art is not Rocket Science so logical limitations have little bearing.

Ed Morales I believe Ed and I began this friend career together back in 2010 when we presented him with an award for outstanding creativity in the world of art. Since then we have dabbled in chats, history, convictions and family stories. It goes without saying I cherish his valuable time we have spent together. If you have an artist friend treasure them as they paint life!

“A n i t a N i c o l e B r o w n is an aspiring actress who caught the acting bug late. Although cast in many independent films, Brown still considers herself aspiring because she feels that with acting (as with anything in life) one should always look to grow and learn more, and that is what she is doing. Coming late into the field, Brown feels she has been blessed with many life experiences that have prepared her for each and every character she has and will be cast as. She has played the gamut of characters that include an action fighter (Crisis Function and Crisis Function Awakening - still filming), a detective investigating corruption (Wages of Sin: Special Tactics - still filming), a jury member trying not to be swayed by her fellow jurors (12 Angry Women - still filming), a woman who discovers her boyfriend has been cheating on her (Pieces of David) and even a mother pushed to the edge (A Woman And A Gun)! But Brown has yet to accomplish her goal: Showing the world that a Type One Diabetic (T1D) can and will accomplish anything they desire and change the perception of diabetics in this industry. After almost 17 years as a T1D, Brown has overcome so much with her diabetes especially regaining the ability to walk after fighting diabetic nerve damage in her legs and feet almost nine years ago. And now, Brown wears her diabetes each and every day. Literally! She has an insulin pump and for some productions, the thought of having an actress with such a visible device for treatment has been a bit unnerving. But in the past few years, Brown has seen a change in which production companies are writing her character in as a diabetic who is strong and determined OR they allow the pump to be worn and shown without feeling the need to address it because it does not take away from Brown's ability to deliver the character. It is a slow change, but it is one Brown is excited about accomplishing! Look out world, Anita Nicole Brown has much more to show you!" Photos by Rinker Photography

Nina Nephertity Scott

Since Nina embarked on her modeling career, she has walked in over 20 fashion shows, been published in two magazines, and highlighted as May Model of the month in Sapphire’s Spotlight on Talent blog and much more.

Currently, Nina lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she is a Head Start Teacher and a traveling model. Nina is confident that what she brings is needed in this industry and what separates her from the rest. That includes personality, humor, love, attitude, and a walk to be remembered. Her fervent desire to give back has become her life’s purpose. She believes we don’t get to choose who selects us as role models, but we can be a positive influence thus deserving of such a title.

BEAUTY TIPS FOR FALL Fall is a gorgeous time of year and we need to use the colors of Fall to enhance our natural beauty. It is easy because it is mostly all colors of nature as the leaves start to turn Golden yellow hues, and cranberry, & reds, a lot of taupe's & browns with crispy leaves falling on the ground. So how can we go wrong with the Naturals? You cannot!!! They work for all skin tones! Everybody can wear earth shades and tones. This season is a lot of metallics and glitter, to push a bit of Glam into the Natural looks!! Here are some tricks- I have up my sleeve or magical hands: 1) Foundation is always applied 1st. Use minimal amount for this time of year. We want to enhance glowing healthy skin! Try not to apply with heavy coverage. *Best in my Celeb case is always Armani luminous silk found. 2) Use a bronzer to fill in where the summer tan is fading away. Just apply liquid foundation for a more natural glow. Great one is Urban Decay Beach Bronzer. 3) Then apply a Cream stick in areas you need more coverage. Or using a good concealer can work as well for problem spots.

4) Dust on a good translucent powder all over with a slight bit of shimmer in the powder for more glow!

5) Cheeks use a beautiful cream blush in russet, tawny colors for that dewy look like the J-Lo Glow! M·A·C Crème blend Blush. Use Earth colors everywhere. It is goof proof and the bolder colors come in on the Lips and eye shadows! This seasons colors- Lips-Maybelline New York Color Sensational in Cruel Ruby perfect for all skin tones 100% Gorgeous~ Perfect color for everybody & every occasion day or night. Love Eye Shadows-Alexis Vogel in Runway & Karma Velvet shadows at www.ravishingcosmetics.com 6) Lips are burnished berry tones looks so sensual! See Above Cruel Ruby Maybelline. Always enhance lip shape with a great liner pencil (NYX in Natural) to get that bow pouty without costs & painful injections. Top it off with a great metallic Gloss like_ Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss, Metallic Rose - 0.16 oz tube purrfect !! This all works for daytime into night!! 7) For more dramatic night time looks just smoke the eye shadow out and add some Demi Wispies Lashes by Ardell mascara and you have arrived!! Ardell FauxMink Wispies Lashes, Demi Wispies BEST always in my Kits!!! You have now fallen into Fall!!!!! Stay Bold Boss Babes!! Love, Alexis <3

This is your rainy day!! :))))) Hot Boots whatever,,,,,, You can do this!! Now the MAKEUP & HAIR TO GO>>>>Halloween Wild!! Most of this makeup you will already have if not, pick up a few inexpensive drug store pieces.
