I was born and still reside in Eastern Michigan, and despite the rough winters I do not mind it. It helps me appreciate traveling to different states. Aside from modeling, currently, I am attending college in pursuit of a Marketing/Advertising degree. I also work at a school for students with cognitive impairments. I have been told I am an old soul, however, I would like to point out that I have an appreciation for all things silly and pride myself in being a humble, relatable person. I began modeling professionally when I was seventeen. I have worked with photographers all over Michigan, a lot of whom traveled here from cities in Florida, Illinois, New York, and California. I have been published in books, and book covers, magazines, and walked the runway for many. It started when a friend, whom I had met as a senior in high school, had asked me to model for her, for her senior art project. Soon after the photos were released, I had gotten requests from other photographers. I was skeptical at first, but her photos, creativity, and passion had inspired me to dive into the modeling world after seeing how she had captured me in her photos. I connected with her with our interest in fashion, which I hope to work more in as a model..
Modeling for photographers, seeing how they picture me is so exciting, especially in the beginning. I see and appreciate beauty draped in all colors and sizes. When you are shooting with a photographer, try and bring yourself to a state of creativity and self-love, it will show in the pictures how you feel. I do not believe confidence and sexiness is displayed in what someone is wearing. I believe it is displayed by how the clothing is worn, whether it be a turtle neck sweater, or a low-cut top and a short skirt. Confidence is a state of mind. I prefer to show it without revealing too much of my body as a model. I obtain my confidence by focusing on being kind and understanding towards others, bettering my education, and expanding my knowledge in other ways. Many people have a pretty face, but beauty is intensified when paired with brains and compassion towards yourself and others. Working with photographers is an immensely gratifying experience. I appreciate every single one I have worked with and those who I will work with in the future.

My name is Melita Rakovic
I am a formal wear designer from Bosnia, based in Detroit. My family and I moved to the US in December of 1996. I got into fashion as a child when my dad first taught me how to sew. Ever since then I knew this is what I wanted to do. I got into formal wear when I went to my senior prom and had the same dress as someone else. I knew that I will never let that happen again! My designs are all about standing out and being unique in a very sexy and elegant way. I like to call it "A Modern Sexy Audrey Hepburn". My main focus in design is movement and texture, combined with detail for elegance, resulting in a line that reflect the kind of woman I want everyone to feel while wearing my dress‌elegant, glamorous, strong, sexy, and fearless. Follow my social media to keep up with all my latest creations. Facebook(Melita Moda) Instagram: melita_moda__
Delaney Natke RCCI Chicago Oscars Documentary 2018 Michigan Vocalist of the Year
Hi everyone. My name is Delaney Natke and I turned 16 just a little while back. I live with my Mom and Dad, 6 brothers and dog, Ted, in a teeny tiny town called North Branch, about 90 miles north of Detroit. Almost done with my junior year at Brown City High School. My family says I was born singing. All I know is that singing has been a part of my soul since my earliest memories. When I would clean with my Mom, we would sing and dance to make the time go easier. Two of my early favorites to sing back then were Super Woman, by Alicia Keys and SoulShine, by The Allman Brothers. Even now, hearing those songs brings a smile to my lips every time.
thru current rock music and are invited to be part of dozens of events all around Michigan. Some of my favorites are the gigs we perform that help other charities, like our most recent outing just a few weeks ago to benefit St. Baldrick’s, who champions to cure children’s’ cancer. Several months ago, I was the runner-up in an acoustic vocal competition at 20 Front Street, the coolest new venue for music, located in Lake Orion. My accompanist for the evening was one of the mentors for GZB, John Salsido, who has been performing for more years than he would want me to comment.
My passion is what I want to pursue for my lifetime. There is absolutely nothing that makes my heart smile more than seeing my songs bring joy to those who are listening. My experience with musical instruments falls on the clarinet, violin, ukulele and piano.
We presented a new arrangement of Oh Darlin’ by the Beatles. Normally, I don’t like to listen to myself on recordings, but this place has acoustics that I am sure rival some of the oldest music halls. Feel free to check it out on the 20 Front Street Facebook page.
For the last 2 years, I have been a lead vocalist for The Ground Zero Band (GZB). GZB is sponsored by a not-for-profit, Reason2Rock, which was started by my Mom and her friend, Lisa Niebauer. The Reason2Rock program is completely free to the young musicians. We play classic
Well, in closing, mere words cannot adequately describe my excitement in being chosen to be part of Celebration of Music and I am looking forward to the opportunity to touch people with my music.

It matters now more than ever that we make our voices heard to protect the vital work of the United Nations. With proposed bills in Congress aimed at either dramatically reducing US funding for the UN or withdrawing our country entirely from the global body, the UNA-USA community must come together and fight for what we know is right: Standing with refugees; demanding equality for women; protecting LGBT rights; combatting climate change; working for peace; and more. Hosted at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC, from June 10-12, you’ll meet with high-ranking U.S. Government and UN officials, learn from global experts, gain invaluable tools to bring back home for chapter sustainability, and urge Congress to stand with the UN. Here are just a few of the incredible speakers you can expect to hear from at the Summit: • • • •
Rep. Ed Royce, Southern California’s 39th Congressional District and Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee Andrew Gilmour, UN Assistant Secretary General for Human Rights Robert Skinner, Executive Director, United Nations Information Center Munira Khalif, U.S. Youth Observer to the UN

Ed Morales Retired from the corporate world back in 2001 where I worked in non-art fields. I'm a self taught artist and I have been painting for about 65 years. Available for commissions when appropriate. Generally paint with acrylics and oil while using mat board as a painting surface. Fortunate to have some of my paintings in foundations and a few museums. In my early work history I was the Store Superintendent of Bullocks Wilshire, Los Angeles. This store was build in 1929 and was the totally Art Deco in style. That is where I gained my love and understanding for Art Deco genre. The Art Deco theme runs strong in my work.
