Dragons’ Notes MYP/DP
Basketball: U-11 boys – From last year’s losing season with only one victory....to this year’s winning season with only one loss; and the wins were in a convincing fashion! We are all PROUD of you! Coach Raymond
U-11 girls – The season was an amazing experience for the ‘first timer’ U-11 Girls. The young Dragons traveled to St. Stephens for the first game, and although the game resulted in a narrow loss by 2 points, it was a great first time experience and boosted confidence for the remainder of the season. That new found confidence was on display in Game 2 when the Dragons decisively beat a more experienced St. Andrews team on our home court. More games followed against KIS and Bangkok Prep, where evidence of growth, team work and skill level was clearly evident. The young Dragons were quietly confident as they approached the TISAC tournament on the 26th of November. I would like to congratulate all the players for giving their best effort throughout the season. Team: Grade 5: Wandy, Soomi, Bei Bei, Andra, Pammy Grade 4: Momae, Inc Coach Kenny

U-13 boys – The U-13 boys finished the season by winning the U-13 Basketball Jamboree. The exciting one point victory against Bromsgrove is a lasting memory. Congratulations boys.
season for the U15 Girls Basketball team. With only 4 returning players (3 of which could have played for the U13 team), we had a very young and inexperienced team. However, what they lacked in experience they made up for with their enthusiasm and determination. Finishing 4th in the TISAC tournament, with their only losses coming from the teams that finished 1st and 2nd, clearly shows how much they improved during the season. Coach Bill

U-13 girls - The U13 Girls basketball team enjoyed hosting Regents and sharing a moment of genuine sportsmanship. With such a strong bond, the players are going to be the team to look out for in the next few years. Coach Gera and Coach Sara
U-15 boys – U-15 Boys are probably the some of the best athletes in Bangkok. When they are on a roll, no one can stop them. However, injuries, academic needs, and external forces kept them from performing at their best the entire season. Heal fellas and good luck in football! U-15 Girls - This was a learning

Girls Varsity Basketball Reflections Stay Tune for
WINTER CONCERTS
his year our Girls’ Varsity BasketT ball team was forever touched and changed by him. I am certain that I am speaking on behalf of the whole team when I say our last year of high school basketball couldn’t have been any better. With coach Jhet making us train hard but laugh until our stomachs hurt every practice, our love for the sport was reignited. I believe that he did not only strengthen our skills but also our bond as a team. He never ceased lighting up our day; there were times when we were overwhelmed with stress but as soon as we passed him by or he paid us a visit in our art class, he left us with smiles and laughter.
During the evening he would make us train so hard until we sweated out all our energy, but we were left feeling happy and healthy.

I am honored that he asked me to write this reflection on behalf of the team. My fellow seniors and I especially, would like to thank coach Jhet from the bottom of our hearts for giving us so many fond memories of our last year on our Varsity team. Lastly, I am sure that all the videos and photos we have of him and our team will travel with us wherever we may go. By Fong, Gr. 12
