Concordian Winter Choir Concert
The winter choir concert at Concordian was an event filled with musical excellence, joy, and the spirit of the holiday season. The choir program, now in its second year, showcased the musical growth of the vocal students and the overall growth of the choir program. We are very proud of the students’ hard work!
For this concert the students were challenged to take on more difficult music, solo opportunities (both vocal and instrumental), logistical responsibilities, and even choreography! The students met these challenges with passion, and took risks to achieve higher levels of musicianship. The resulting performance served as a fantastic testament to their passion for music, singing, and excellence.
Highlights from the show included: a special opening performance of “White Winter Hymnal” by Con Brio, a duet performance by the DP Music students, various solo performances, invited student accompanists, and an exciting closing performance of “All I Want For Christmas Is You”.
We are excited at the growth, passion and ability of all of the vocal students. Their winter performance was inspiring and filled the audience with the spirit of the holidays. The students are already at work on a new set of repertoire for the spring concert: it is going to be wonderful!
We hope to see you there, and thank you for your support of the choir program at Concordian.
