History of Concordian
Concordian is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School offering three IB Programmes -- the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and the Diploma Programme (DP), from K1 to Grade 12. It is the only fully trilingual international school in Thailand using the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme with English, Chinese and Thai as the main languages of instructions. The school was founded in 2001 as a private co-educational college-preparatory school, and has a current total enrollment of 1,010 students. The first graduating cohort received their Diplomas in 2010.

After successful completion of Grade 10 in the MYP, it is an expectation that all students enter the Diploma Programme (DP), thus, making the programme inclusive. To accommodate the varying abilities of all students, Concordian offers a wide-range of DP subjects within the six subject groups.
Concordian High School Diploma Requirements (Grades 9-12)
The school year is divided into two semesters. The first semester begins in late August and ends in late January and the second semester ends in late June. On the successful completion of each subject over two semesters per year, the students receive 1 credit.
Graduation requirements for a Concordian High School Diploma is a minimum of 25 academic credits including Service Learning and DP Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) for 4 years.
* 3 extra credits chosen from either Individuals and Societies, Experimental Sciences, Mathematics or Art/ Music/ Drama/ Technology

DP Requirements:
One subject must be selected from each subject group 1 - 5. The sixth subject may be selected from any of the subject groups 1 – 6. Complete the three core elements. Successful students receive both the Concordian High School Diploma and the IB Diploma.
Additional Information: We do not Calculate GPA or Rank. Grades are 1-7 unweighted using IB Descriptors. If students are required to repeat a course, it will be indicated on their transcript with the most recent grade showing with an asterisk beside it. In relation to Disciplinary Infractions, the school is open to disclose a student’s disciplinary infraction if any, and if requested by the university to which the student has applied. Concordian consistently strives to maintain integrity and honesty in our collaboration with universities.
