Dear K3 Parents,
We are excited to announce our upcoming K3 Graduation ceremony which will be held on Wednesday, June 19th , 2024, from 8:15 am - 9:45 am in the Grand Theater.
The Graduation ceremony comprises five parts:
● Students' entry in graduation gowns
● Administrator and homeroom teachers’ speeches
● Class parents and teacher appreciation
● Students receiving graduation certificates on stage, one by one
● Family photo-taking in the MYP Gym next to the Grand Theater
Please kindly make a note of the following information:
● Due to the capacity of the Grand Theater, we are inviting a maximum of 3 family members (including siblings) per student to join the ceremony
● Additional family members may join the photo-taking session in the MYP Gym after the ceremony or sit in the Grand Theater balcony seating area located on the 5th floor
● Only parents and guardians holding a green lanyard are permitted to attend the Graduation ceremony
● Students should not wear flower wreaths, tiaras, or distracting headdresses during the ceremony for the official graduation photo which will be taken on the stage. Students may wear headdresses and other accessories during the photo-taking session in the MYP Gym.
● Parents will receive one professional photo of their child receiving their graduation certificate at the beginning of next school year
● Students will remove their masks when going on stage to receive the graduation certificate. Students may put masks back on when they are not on stage.
● After each individual class has received their graduation certificates, parents may proceed to the MYP Gym for photo-taking. (Please wait for the announcement of the dismissal of each class.)
● Snacks and refreshments will be provided to parents and students at the back of the MYP Gym after the Graduation ceremony.
● Photo-taking will be finished by 11:00 am at the latest. Please bring your child back to their classrooms to have lunch in the canteen.
