Elementary School Back to School Week
From September 9th to 13th, 2024, the PYP hosted its yearly Back to School Week event. Each day, two grade levels presented their sessions. The Primary Years sessions were held in the morning, while the Early Years sessions took place in the afternoon. This schedule allowed parents with multiple children to attend all of their children’s grade-level sessions.
The Back to School Week sessions provided parents with an opportunity to meet all their child’s teachers in one session and gain a better understanding of the grade-level curriculum, which includes Units of Inquiry, Math, Thai language, Music, PE, Visual Arts, and more.
Parents also learned about the home learning routine, classroom expectations, and received useful reminders. At the end of each session, parents were encouraged to ask questions and raise any concerns.
It was a great pleasure to see parents actively participating in these sessions. We appreciate all the hard work our teachers put into preparing their presentations. When the school-home partnership is strong, positive communication and collaboration naturally follow. We look forward to a successful year ahead with you!
