hun Luck has been a counselor at Concordian for 5 years. As an early years counselor, She supports students by helping them develop social and emotional skills by supporting positive behavior and academic performance through: Teaching bi-monthly guidance lessons and value lessons in classrooms: students learning about social competence skills, problem-solving skills, conflict-resolution skills, emotional coping strategies, career paths, and school core values which are Appreciation, Responsibility, Integrity, Respect, Compassion/Empathy, Giving, and Friendship. Conducting individual and/or small group counseling sessions for students that help with issues related to social and emotional growth. Supporting teachers by working together with the teacher to help identify areas of concern whether it is academic, social, or emotional and help teachers with different strategies to help students who need the extra support. Organizing Career Day annually for students.
