Grade 8 Week Without Walls Unforgettable trip in Sukhothai
This year Grade 8 WWW took place from November 13-17, 2023 - students spent 5 days in Sukhothai and made many wonderful memories there.
During WWW, G8 students had lots of opportunities to explore local culture, historical art and architecture, and their values in the Thai society such as visiting Sukhothai Historical Park and Ramkhamhaeng National Museum in Sukhothai, which enabled them to acquire knowledge about temples and understand the cultural heritage of Thailand throughout history. Students also experienced traditional Khantoke Style Dinner - while tasting authentic Thai dishes, they also enjoyed Thai dance performances.
In addition to the opportunity to discover the charm of Thai culture, students enhanced their teamwork skills through numerous hands-on activities - they participated in Thai handicraft to make weaving fish and Tan Ta Wan flowers, and had a farm tour and planted seedlings in the rice fields. On the last day of WWW, students had the privilege of visiting a private dinosaur museum to learn from the experts and make a fossil replica. This was indeed a truly magical experience.
G8 students thoroughly enjoyed this trip. On the one hand, they did gain a wealth of knowledge, while on the other hand, they also got to spend quality time with their friends too. It was a truly wonderful journey.
