School Update

T

he beginning of a school year always brings with it many changes, though none more so than these first couple of weeks. August was an incredibly hectic month as we returned to campus and once again to accustom ourselves with classes, classrooms, classmates and staff. Though we’re back at school, we must also remember what we do outside of it as well — our after school activities and student-run clubs.

On August 18th, the club fair was held after school to attract high-school students to the whoppingTWENTY-FOUR student run clubs. Of the twenty four, nine of these clubs are completely new this year! In fact, the range of club presidents and vice-presidents is no longer limited only to eleventh and twelfth graders — we now have club leaders from the full range of the high-school. It exemplifies the ideals of Concordian; a showcase of our up-and-coming intellectual leaders. Be it public service-related, artistic, or academic, these clubs encompass the diverse interests of our students. See the word cloud of the clubs the high-school is offering this school year. If you have the time, please inquire and join in! We’re all looking forward to what our clubs can accomplish this year! 25 CONCORDIAN IMPACT - ISSUE 29
