WATERBASED COATING Solvent-free solutions for durable performance

IMMERSED IN SUSTAINABILITY Our waterbased coating process offers a remarkable environmental advantage compared to traditional solvent-based methods. By significantly reducing volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions and minimizing our carbon footprint, our fabrics play a vital role in creating a cleaner and greener planet.

IMPROVED AIR QUALITY

By using water as a base instead of hazardous chemicals, waterbased coatings help maintain better indoor and outdoor air quality, making them safer for occupants and reducing the risk of respiratory issues.

3

VOC IMPACT ON OZONE LEVELS Volatile organic compounds, or VOCs, are gases that are emitted into the air from products or processes. This class of chemicals vaporizes during production processes, as well as under room temperature and daily usage. A VOC is a compound that participates in atmospheric photochemical reactions with oxides of nitrogen (NOx) to create health hazardous ground level ozone. Ozone can be harmful for high-risk groups such as small children, elderly people, heart patients, etc. by attacking the respiratory system and eyes, leading to bronchitis, reduced breathing and lung capacity to even premature death.

ELIMINATE TOXIC CHEMICALS

Waterbased coatings eliminate the need for toxic chemicals like DMF, toluene and formaldehyde, making them a safer choice for both workers and end-users.

WATERBASED COATINGS Waterbased coatings are environmentally friendly direct coatings that use water instead of solvents to disperse the resin, resulting in a more sustainable and durable coating. Unlike traditional binders that rely on formaldehyde as a crosslinker, our waterbased coatings are solvent-free and formaldehyde-free, providing a sustainable and durable alternative for various textile applications.

REDUCED CONTAMINATION

Waterbased coatings have a lower environmental impact, as they contribute to reducing soil and water contamination when properly handled and disposed of.

5

ELIMINATE AFTERBURNING In the conventional manufacturing process, a significant portion of solvents is evaporated during drying. To address this, an afterburner is used to extract and purify these solvents from the surrounding air. However, when utilizing waterbased coatings, which inherently lack solvents, the need for an afterburner is entirely eliminated. This is attributed to the absence of solvent emissions, resulting in a more streamlined and environmentally friendly production process that does not require supplementary air purification procedures.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

Waterbased coatings require less energy and contribute to a smaller carbon footprint. Solvents evaporate during the production process, but since water doesn’t involve any toxic chemicals there’s no need for an afterburner, therefor there’s less energy consumption.

6

NO COMPROMISE ON QUALITY With our waterbased coating technology, we achieve a balance of waterproofness and windproofness in a sustainable manner. Our coatings offer durability, resistance to aging, elasticity, flexibility, and waterproofness.
