MOVING TOGETHER TOWARD LIVABLE COMMUNITIES
Translating sustainability into solutions that improve streets, change minds and pave the way to more livable communities.
At Mobycon, we believe movement is fundamental for individuals, businesses and communities to thrive. Our research and consulting is focused on sustainable mobility or more simply providing people with transportation options so they can make the best possible decisions for today and tomorrow.

MOBYCON, YOUR DUTCH PARTNER Mobycon has more than 25 years of experience designing bicycle routes and networks, complete streets and public spaces. We also have experience managing mobility demands by developing programs and policies that encourage the continuation of sustainable practices. In recent years, we have been working to spread our knowledge of traffic, transportation and mobility through workshops and design projects in other parts of Europe and North America. Our goal is not to apply Dutch solutions in a foreign environment but to share our way of thinking. In order to develop successful solutions, we work in partnership with others who share our view on sustainable mobility. We seek partners who can benefit from our knowledge of leading European approaches as we can benefit from their knowledge of the local situation.

to make the factory grounds accessible to pedestrians and cyclists, as well as motorized traffic.
• In Ottawa, Canada, Mobycon helped develop a pilot project in which segregated bicycle lanes were constructed in downtown Ottawa. The successful project will become permanent in 2014. • For the city of Delft, Mobycon built a crowd-sourced website to help users plan bicycling trips and allow them to upload routes and share information about conditions. The site also allows the city to plan better for maintenance and future facilities. Combining Dutch and Danish expertise, Mobycon and partner Copenhagenize Design Co. developed an original master class on bicycle planning and policy. The Kickstand Sessions have been a success in communities across Canada.
