Welcome to Disneyland...

!\for two students scaled the Registry and replaced UEA's flag with their own version -'Welcome to Disneyland' . The daring duo, who are reluctant to be identified, switched the flags in the early hours of Bank Holiday Monday (May 29). Gommenting on their achievemen~ they said: "It had to be done -a practical joke to end all practical jokes. We suspect maybe

only a porter or two and a few birds saw what we did. We were armed with two ladders, a rope, a flashlight, and a lot of balls. And no-one saw us doing it ..." But UEA's campus security supremo, Maurice Morso slammed the two's flag switch caper: "I can confirm that someone got onto the Registry tower at night and that the Registry flag is still missing. "I can perhaps understand the euphoria from s udents at this time of year, but this was an incident of extreme folly and stupidity," he said.

OUEA's biannual babefest took place last week in the LCR and received the usual raptuous response, writes Carolina Jenkinson . OThe Fashion Show catwalk played host to an assortment of characters, from pouting punks in PVC to winsome lasses in floaty white dresses. OThe constant stream of clothes from Norwich's top fashion houses was punctuated with a variety of entertainment, ranging from an interpretation of Madonna's 'Vogue' , to juggling with fire.
