A Message From Conejo Recreation and Park District
Upcoming Program Guide Changes
As our season changes, I wanted to include you in a change that will be happening in the next program guide (Winter). As Winston Churchill said, “To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.”
Conejo Recreation & Park District has spoken to our community and many of our program participants and decided to change our program guide. We hope this change will make it easier to navigate for you and your family. There may even be some programs you did not know that we conduct that you can enrich your life with. All in all, we asked, you informed, and we listened. Make sure to check the mailbox in December to find your fun using the new layout for the CRPD program guide.
Support Play Conejo
A little note from Play Conejo (Conejo Recreation & Park District’s non-profit foundation) that supports public park facilities and recreational programs. November is the month of giving and being thankful. Play Conejo is thankful for the generosity of our community; because of you, we were able to contribute to the refurbishment of eight parks/ playgrounds last year and gave out over $15,000 in financial assistance. It is vital to our community to provide safe places for children, seniors, and families to enrich, engage, and enhance their lives. If you would like to make a difference in a child’s life through financial assistance, please use this QR Code to make a donation today.

“I am the Resource Guardian (Foster Mom) for my foster child. She was generously granted financial assistance over the summer session to allow her to experience Volleyball. She greatly appreciated the opportunity to stay active over the summer and explore something new. We greatly appreciate the financial support from Play Conejo that enabled her to stay active throughout the summer weeks.” ~
Foster Mom“I can’t thank you enough for allowing my 6-year-old to enjoy the recreation & parks program. He was so happy during summer camp and his tennis experience! These programs boosted his confidence and gave him something to look forward to. It was a weight off my shoulders knowing he had a safe place to be this summer, and it was fun to watch him grow. As a single mom, I could not have been able to afford these programs. THANK YOU for offering these scholarships.”
