Conejo Valley's beloved skate park. Skaters in our class get the park to themselves to learn the basics of skateboarding and improve their skills down the hills and practicing technical tricks.

SAPWI TRAILS PUMP TRACK

2100 Scenicpark Street, Thousand Oaks

A cement course where riding occurs over mounds, hills, and side berms, for the rider to produce speed. Trick and street-style skate instruction also given at the pump track.

THOUSAND OAKS COMMUNITY CENTER

2525 N Moorpark Rd, Thousand Oaks

Skateboard lessons taught on the outdoor basketball court. Portable ramps are brought in for more advanced riders. For beginners, the smooth and flat court provides a great open area for instruction on foot positioning, balance, pushing, and riding.

Level 1 – RABBITS, Geared towards beginners and first-time skaters. Learn safety, balance, and stance prior to exploring pushing, turning, and other skills. Learn our famous “1,2,3 Skateboarding” method in a fun and friendly environment at the skatepark.

Level 2 – HAWKS, Increase the speed and ability in this beginner level class. Learn how to ride down hills, turn, and gain confidence on the board. Introduction to ollies, quarter-pipe, and carving.

Level 3 – COYOTES, Intermediate skill level. Refine skills learned in Levels 1 and 2 to practice ollies, kickflips, quarter-pipe, speed, and style!

Geared towards skateboarders of all levels. A full-size skateboard and safety gear (helmet, elbow and knee pads) are required. Safety gear is offered free of charge during classes. CRPD Skate Recreation Specialist - Aaron Yant.

Sapwi Pump Track

PUMP TRACK SKATE!, Age 7-14 Some skateboarding experience needed. Refine skateboarding skills as we race around the Pump Track. Increase balance, stamina, and confidence on your skateboard in a fun group setting. Must be able to ride up and down hills. Instructor: CRPD Staff
