Information For Hikes

g Fees for hikes are per person.

g Bring sun protection, bug spray, & water.

g Wear clothing appropriate for the weather.

g Sturdy closed-toed shoes are required (no sandals).

g Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.

g No smoking.

g No pets except where specifically stated.

g Only the Oak Creek Canyon Loop / Whole Access Interpretive Trail is suitable for strollers and wheelchairs.

K = Easy Hike, ok for young children and hiking strollers

KK = Moderately Easy, ok for children, not stroller accessible

KKK = Moderate Hike, long distances, some elevation changes

KKKK = Strenuous Hike, longer distances and large elevation changes

Moderate 4.5-mile loop with elevation gain/loss about 1000 ft. Paramount Ranch is famous for films and television! We all know it’s there and many have visited it, but have you hiked it? Explore the Coyote Trail, Bwana Trail, and more! Exit Kanan Rd from the 101 Fwy and head south then left on Cornell Rd. Park at the Paramount Ranch parking lot off Cornell Rd, just north of Mulholland Hwy. Meet near the ranger information house.

Los Robles – Los Padres to Los Robles and White Horse Canyon Age 14+ KKK

Moderately strenuous 6-mile loop with elevation gain/loss about 1500 ft. Los Padres Trail leads through a serene oak woodland, then to a loop on Los Robles and White Horse Canyon Trails. From 101, drive south on Moorpark Rd to Greenmeadow Ave. The trailhead is at this intersection.

A $50 non-refundable registration fee (in addition to the full class fee) is due at registratoin to reserve a spot, with the balance due in three payments prior to the program beginning. Payment Plans available.
